Our Story - Third visit - Three weeks long - Week 3

On Monday we say goodbye to our first camp site guests.

There is no carpenter on Wednesday morning. He only arrives at half past three in the afternoon. The doors are sticking out of his small van, but the works can begin.

The windows in the room is quickly removed. At six the working day is closed, as well as the window.

The next day it's time for the front and back door.

On Friday the door of the little barn is replaced and a window is placed.

At seven on Friday evening the job is done and we have completed an important step in our project.

This is how the house looks by the end of the third week.

Ahead with the kitchen

As soon as the doors have been placed we can go ahead with the kitchen. The draining board is already at the exact size and the cupboards have already been assembled.

The next day we can cook and wash the dishes in our kitchen.

On Sunday we have to return to Holland. We leave the mess behind. In one week there is the annual garbage collection and we have special permission from the mayor to put it outside more than one week in advance.
