While my parents were visiting us, they spent a lot of energy in removing a pile of rubble and soil on a location where we want to build a garden shed. Now it's time to start building.
I saved the better beams from the "zit" in front of the house. I also saved the tiles. I use those as my basic material for the construction works and I manage to build a good frame for the shed. One day later the walls are closed. Now I just need to make a new door. But that's for later!

The opening in de ceilings is halved. Now it's just big enough for the future stairs. But in the meantime there will just be the folding stairs.p>
For the passage to the living room we need to remove a single-stone wall, currently the back of the closet. We have some concerns because the wall does not seem to be too solid. But we find a good solution and place a beam above the future opening. We "glue" the stones with cement and two days later we can walk from the living into the future bedroom.
When all of this is done we treat all beams and planks with anti-insectide.

One day later the work is done and we continue with the stairs. Once it is in place we can close the ceiling. We are one step closer to our bedroom (see Our Project).

But we manage to do all. We even make some time to visit the local village feast on Tuesday, August 15th (See our Photo Album).
But on Friday, August 18th, its all
over and tired, but satisfied we return back to Holland.
But... in four weeks' time we have planned a long weekend in Allier!
